Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about being raised within "a the white bubble." She also explains how that realization has affected the way she raises adoptees who are multi-racial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl admitted that she did not care about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister who was from South Korea. "I inquired of my sister, Meg whether she'd been treated one way when she was going out with us parents and a different way when she was out on her own without anyone else. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" That made me realize that I had been so naive," Heigl said to Parents. She admitted to becoming upset, but she felt that she had use that anger in order to assist the adopted children she has. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- singer Josh Kelley -- have an infant son, aged 4 years old. Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, they welcomed Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
