April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and piano classes, which ignited her love for writing songs. at the age of 12, April came up with her first original song Different. At the age of 14 April was a big devotee of her day singing and writing songs. Soon after, April started to go on trips with her dad and to write songs in NY or LA. April began including other topics in the book, Take My Hand, for her friends who were dealing with peer pressure, disabilities or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart also has an ever-growing popularity as a lifestyle influencer and is employed by the renowned clean beauty company Ilia. Her birthplace didn't come having a left-handed hand, which is the reason she's who she is. But that's far from the whole story. Lockhart's Instagram account doesn't ignore her disability. But it also doesn't emphasize her disability. The point? The message is that we all share numerous identities. We're much way more diverse than we think we're. Lockhart, via video message from Nashville home, states I don't want that to be a part of me. I'm far more than just my physical self. But it does not affect my day-to-day life. I still do all my normal activities and have adjusted to the limitations of my disability. Since it's a my identity and something worthy of talking about. Lockhart is a huge inspiration to her fellow women in the area of self-acceptance. However, she acknowledges going through phases with her body and sometimes feeling insecure to wear particular types of clothes that showed how much of her body. She wears what she likes and posts photos of herself in the outfits she wears on social media. For her, self-love is an extended journey. That's true of everyone regardless of the level of insecurity. The people you surround yourself with that truly understand you and see into your heart are the ones you should be relying on who can remind you of the things you're concerned about.
