Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci aged six. First competing in the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. She took home three golds at her very first contest at a junior Olympic meet in 1972 that was held by the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974 she won the junior champion in all-round competitions. In 1975, she took home four golds and one silver in her first senior competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. She won the American Cup in New York City in 1976 and became the first female to do a reverse double salto, which is dismounting from the uneven bars parallel to each other. These shows included ice skating performances that were accompanied by theatrical music.
