Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. After 13 years of age, old, he made the move with his family from Nebraska to Casper within the Western part of Wyoming, where his father was the director of the district for soil conservation in Casper of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
